My interests in Research go to soil biodiversity and interactions between aboveground and belowground subsystems of an ecosystem.
The study of soil biodiversity has been overlooked by decision-makers and other stakeholders for quite some time now. It provides many ecosystem services such as regulating pests, limiting erosion and floods, providing plants and crops with nutrients and other resources, etc. I am interested in linking lab work with fieldwork in order to better understand mechanisms that rule those interactions.
