We must adapt our teaching methods to today's students. They find many resources online and can get a lot of knowledge in a click.
However, they are less and less used to integrating and using this knowledge.

I was trained to 2 participatory methods in Jan. 2015 - 2-day training with Pierre Goirand and Isabelle Jacob, IRIS, Paris.
I usually combine both practices within a 4-hour lab session, and Master students must then work on their projet on their own.

ParAim: let the energy of the self-orgnized group worka in collaboration to build up ideas around a main question/theme.
Participants create their own agenda based on their commitments and passions and are free to go wherever they want to contribute. Alternating between small group meeting and sharing in plenary makes it possible to the interconnect ideas, with, often, an action-oriented plan, with a heightened sense of responsibility.
